Clojure is being used in almost every large company in every industry. There are many Clojure jobs being advertised online. The trick is to know where to look. I have compiled places where Clojure jobs are often posted, with instructions for how to zero in on the Clojure jobs specifically.

Brave Clojure Jobs

Brave Clojure hosts a job board specifically for Clojure jobs. It's well-regarded in the community, so a lot of great jobs are there.

#jobs channel on Clojurians Slack

If you're not part of the Clojurians Slack, you should be. It's a great place to socialize, but also for getting answers to questions. There are channels for just about every popular library and Clojure-related topic. If you're looking for a job, there are channels about getting jobs.

Functional Works is a recruiting firm that specializes in functional programming. They list jobs in many languages, including Clojure. They have a newsletter, they run meetups, and are generally active in the functional world.

Hacker News' Who is Hiring?

Every month, someone creates a post on Hacker News for people to add job listings in the comments. It's not easy to link to, since it's a new post every month. This is how I find the current one for each month.

  1. Click here: Search Google for "hacker news who is hiring April 2024".
  2. It's usually the first result, so click it.
  3. Using the browser's in-page search (usually Ctrl-F or Cmd-F), search for "Clojure"

Indeed is your traditional job board. There are many Clojure jobs.
